Previously I’ve always used programmed drumbeats, which I guess, in hindsight, didn’t really fit with the feel of my songs.
When I got a drum kit I resolved to replace the existing tracks with a real acoustic drum track. So Charles is coming over on the weekend to record some more. We’ve pooled our collection of microphones and drums and have managed to come up with a pretty good sounding kit.
He’s already recorded four songs. I’m going to put one up to listen to as soon as I have a mix I’m happy with.
They sound really good though, better than drums recorded at home.
...nice site dog...i like its flawed beauty...you most certainly make great use of floral ornaments...hey you heard of the hang drum? thought you may have since you like to have a dabble at “any instrument you can get your hands on”...peace…

Lovely site, passing this round my mates who dig similar music to you.

Definitely a good idea to use real drums......
Hope all goes well with the recordings, drums can be a pain to mix.
